Our Service Policy

Consultations

All new clients wishing to book Starter Locs or Loc Extensions are required to book an initial consultation with a ROYAL ME LOCS Loctician, prior to their first service. The consultation fee is $50.00 and is a separate charge from the Starter Locs and Loc Extension Pricing. The fee must be paid at the time of booking the consultation appointment. Consultations are performed either in person (Recommended) or virtual, depending on the client’s preference.

Deposits

Deposits are Non-Refundable. A 50.00 deposit is required to reserve an appointment for all clients. This deposit will go towards your services. Appointments for Starter Locs and Loc Extensions require a 50% Deposit due at booking, information on pricing and additional costs will be provided during the scheduled consultation.

Punctuality

To ensure that you have an efficient and wonderful experience at ROYAL ME LOCS, please arrive no earlier than 5 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment . Arriving 15 minutes late to your scheduled appointment will result in appointment cancellation and/or a rescheduled appointment. If your stylist takes your after arriving late, there will be a $50 late fee added to service.

Waiting Area

Due to limited space and the ongoing Covid-19 Pandemic, our waiting area is for clients who are being serviced only. Please do not bring any guests or children along with you for your appointment as they can not be permitted into the salon area unless they are being serviced.

Cancellation / No Show Policy

For your convenience we will contact all clients to confirm appointments. Services must be rescheduled or cancelled a minimum of 24 hours prior to your appointment. A rescheduled (late cancellation) appointment within 24 hours will forfeit the booking deposit of $50. A no cancellation (no show) will be charged an additional 50% of the service cost. All prepaid and promotional services will be considered redeemed in full.

Payments

Cash and all major credit cards are accepted for services and products. Gratuities are also welcome as cash or card. Checks are not accepted as a form or payment. Please be prepared to provide Photo Identification for all major credit/debit card use.
